Chicamocha National Park

Is one of the most important tourist sites in the country, dedicated to ecotourism. It is built on the Chicamocha Canyon taking advantage of its natural and historical riches. The park comprises an urban set consisting of different elements and places seeking to promote the values of the land, landscape and culture of Santander. Among these elements include: an administrative, cultural and tourism headquarters, parking, the cable car station, ring road, santandereano people, sound shell, theatre,  monument to the santanderianidad, natural viewpoint, trails and roads, places of contemplation and relaxation. It accounts with the square of the flags where adorns the patriotic pride in Colombia, Santander and Aratoca.

The main attraction of the park is the cable car which crosses the Chicamocha Canyon in Aratoca until La Mesa de los Santos.  Starting from the park you can also practice the jumping, gliding, etc. El Hostel Mi Gran Santander is located 10 kilometers from the park by paved road.
